General Terms and Conditions

This is a convenience translation. Only the German version of this page is legally binding. In the event of any discrepancy, the German text prevails. You can find it here: German version.

1. Scope

These general terms and conditions apply to all contracts for the provision of T-AI-L AI literacy training (Jürgen Grabbert) with entrepreneurs within the meaning of § 14 BGB (German Civil Code). They do not apply to the free “T-AI-L for Youngster” programme for children and young people, as no contract for payment is concluded there.

2. Subject matter of the contract

The subject matter of the contract is the provision of access to the T-AI-L learning portal for the number of users set out in the respective offer and for a fixed term (3, 6 or 12 months). This is time-limited access without automatic renewal, not a subscription.

3. Conclusion of contract

The figures in the package builder and an enquiry submitted through the contact form do not constitute a binding offer; they serve to establish requirements without obligation. The contract is concluded only through an individual written offer from T-AI-L and its acceptance by the customer (for example by email).

4. Prices and payment terms

The prices stated in the respective individual offer apply, plus statutory VAT where applicable. All prices shown in the booking portal are net prices per user for the term selected.

Two payment routes are available:

Immediate payment through our payment service provider Stripe – by card or one of the other methods offered there. The amount falls due immediately; access is activated as soon as payment is confirmed. If a payment method confirms only after a delay, activation follows accordingly later.

Purchase on invoice with payment due within 30 days net of the invoice date, without deduction. The invoice is issued when access is activated and sent by email.

Access is billed for the booked term and ends automatically thereafter. There is no automatic renewal and no recurring debit. If the customer falls into arrears, we are entitled to suspend access until the claim is settled; statutory claims for default remain unaffected.

5. Rights of use

The customer receives a simple, non-transferable and non-sublicensable right to use the learning portal during the agreed term with the agreed number of users. Passing access credentials to unlicensed persons is not permitted.

6. Term and access

Access ends automatically when the chosen term expires; no notice of termination is required. It is extended only by placing a new order.

7. Liability

T-AI-L is liable without limitation in cases of intent and gross negligence, and under the provisions of the German Product Liability Act. In the case of slightly negligent breach of material contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract. Otherwise liability for slight negligence is excluded.

8. Data protection

Information on the processing of personal data can be found in our privacy policy.

9. Final provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is Hamburg, to the extent permitted by law. Should individual provisions of these terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
